Premium quality fetal bovine serum is derived from Australian blood, to collect cattle from Australia high quality pasture, through 8 months old fetal bovine heart puncture blood, through centrifugation and three 0.1 micron filtration production process, and through a number of quality indicators detection, including BVD and a series of virus testing, mycoplasma, endotoxin, performance, biochemical analysis. This level of serum contains growth factors necessary for embryonic development and is low in immunoglobulin.
This FBS does not contain trace levels of tetracycline (or its derivatives) which have been observed to interfere with proper regulation of TRE-controlled gene expression. Use of this serum ensures the maximal range of induction possible with the Tet Systems.
