Superior quality fetal bovine serum was derived from Uruguayan blood, to collect cattle from South America high quality pasture, through 8 months old fetal bovine heart puncture blood, through centrifugation and three 0.1 micron filtration production process, and through a number of quality indicators detection, including BVD and a series of virus testing, mycoplasma, endotoxin, performance, biochemical analysis. This level of serum contains growth factors necessary for embryonic development and is low in immunoglobulin.
Very low hemoglobin serum lots are tested and selected for their ability to establish primary cultures.
